Oh yes I posted late, you see I was on the go again!!
With Father's Day this weekend, I decided to go spend time with My Dad. So off I went to Virginia Beach by Myself! Yes I left the hubby and daughter back home. The drive was not bad, I left early in the morning around 6am and arrived about 10am. Noticed that the traffic was lighter than usual. My baby brother and I are taking dad out Sunday for a Father's Day Brunch/Cookout.
Here's a question for you;
Do you celebrate Father's day? If so, what are your Plans?

Oh boy, you are close! I grew up in VB (I think we've discussed that before?) and I still live within HR. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe have a beach picnic planned for Sunday with my Dad and my husband. Should be fun :)
I love that you're hanging out with your dad making the whole weekend special! I wish my dad wasn't 3000 miles away... *sigh* But at least I'll have a great phone conversation with him, and Princess Nagger has plans to 'surprise' the hubby with a few things to make him feel extra special on Sunday, too. :)
ReplyDeleteWe do whatever the my husband wants to do. I do make him whatever he wants for breakfast. Other than that we just go with the flow.
ReplyDeleteWe celebrated a week early because my in-laws went on a cruise. I'll call my dad this year but otherwise it's just another day here.
ReplyDeleteWe're going to my Dad's and doing presents and dinner for him and my hubby.
ReplyDeleteWe actually celebrated simply last night because my husband has to work 12 hr shifts all weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe really have no plans. My husband is taking our oldest with him golfing.
ReplyDeleteMy papa is a bit far away this year. About 8 hour drive that is. So I sent a card. :( I sure miss my dad.
ReplyDeleteMy husband's side of the family has a big get-together/campout at the lake.
ReplyDeleteWe're not really big Father's Day celebrators over here, but we do plan on maybe packing a picnic and doing a little fishing :)
ReplyDeleteIf not that, then just a leisurely day at home.
Happy Father's Day weekend and have a great Friday (a day late) LOL
Yes, we'll do whatever Hubs wants to do. Work on the garden, swim, see Toy Story 3... it's up to him.
